Matri Shakti is the biggest strength of the state, women have the biggest role in making Uttarakhand a leading state – CM

CM Dhami has advised the public representatives of all the municipal bodies of the state not to see their role only as a “post”, Rather, adopt it as a mission of public service. Everyone has to ensure that the benefits of the schemes and works being run by our “triple engine” government reach the person standing at the last end of the society. All of you should develop your respective body office not only as an administrative unit, but also as a ‘service center’, where every citizen can come with full confidence without hesitation. All of you should make transparency, accountability and honesty the basic mantra of your working style. You should regularly monitor especially those works in which there is a high possibility of corruption because your vigilance at the administrative level can become the biggest guarantee of good governance. Adopt a zero tolerance policy towards corruption and give a clear message to your subordinate officers and employees that corrupt practices will not be tolerated at any level. I believe that our responsibility is not only to remain in power, but our real responsibility is to serve the public.
